We’ve just received planning and listed building consent for a contemporary extension to this cottage, along with a detached garden studio.
Completely clad in black timber, the new volume will house an open space lounge, kitchen & dining. Linked via a glazed link is a master bedroom with en suite.
The project will feature eco-friendly solutions such as a ground source heat pump and solar panels, and will be built using SIPs or a prefabricated timber frame system.
