Factory extension and refurbishment

Architecture: Factory extension and refurbishment
This project involved the extension, change of use from B2 to B8, and refurbishment of a prominent factory/ warehouse in Kent. Located in a high-visibility area, the building required not only functional improvements but also an enhanced visual identity to strengthen the business’s branding. The modern extension provides additional operational space, while the refurbishment upgraded the existing structure to meet contemporary standards, improving both the facility’s performance and appearance.
The proposal includes an HGV loading and unloading area, external storage with cantilever racking, and associated external works including recladding, hardstanding, and parking, to improve a very tired-looking industrial building in A.
With careful consideration of the building’s prominent location, the design integrates bold architectural elements and updated materials that reflect the company’s brand, ensuring the factory stands out as a key landmark. The result is a modern, efficient, and visually impactful facility that supports both business operations and brand presence.
