gyd modular is the perfect way of combining gyd architects’ extensive experience of architectural design and project management with bespoke modular buildings. We have over twenty years’ experience in off-site construction and are passionate about delivering modular construction as part of our range of services. Our emphasis is on quality control, costs and project management, delivering a building designed at gyd architects and then constructed using our sister company gyd modular.

Over the past twenty years we have worked on a wide range of projects, consisting of bespoke and standard configurations, using modular design principles. Past projects have included new dwellings, extensions, holiday homes, annexes, classrooms, and garden offices, all of the highest quality and of architectural merit. Currently we are working on a new website to showcase our range of new compact modular building designs.

These will include:

studio modules for home working, art and pottery workshops or home gyms
superior studios for annexes and school classrooms
complete homes featuring a range of layouts and sizes

As part of this exciting development, we are looking into collaboration with similar minded craftsman, suppliers and installers to work with gyd on the most efficient methods of construction. We are excited about using the latest materials and techniques which are well-suited to the modular approach to off-site construction.
