Paragraph 80 House

Location: Kent
Architecture: Paragraph 80 House

Designed to integrate into a disused quarry, this house features volumes stacked over three levels, cantilevering in different directions, ‘growing’ from the natural landscape.

The proposed material palette is comprised of exposed concrete, timber cladding and corten panels, for a dramatic, sleek, minimalist look which complements the backdrop of the quarry and the adjacent wooded area.

The is part of a study we are undertaking for a bespoke design of an isolated house in a one-off unique site within the AONB, under Para 80 of the NPPF. More info to follow as the project unfolds.
